See your IMPORTRANGE connections at a glance

IMPORTRANGE is more useful when you can see it working. This update adds three new signals that make your live data connections visible without having to open any panel.

Sheet tab indicator

Any sheet tab with at least one IMPORTRANGE formula now shows a small chain-link icon. Hover it to see how many formulas are on that sheet. It's a quick scan to know which sheets are live-connected to other GeoSheets and which are self-contained.

Status bar pill

When a GeoSheet is actively importing data from one or more sources, a pill appears in the bottom status bar:

It shows the number of active imports and how recently they synced. Click it to open the references panel. It stays hidden when there's nothing to show.

Combined references panel

The References panel now shows both directions in one place:

• This doc imports from — the GeoSheets your IMPORTRANGE formulas are pulling data from, with the sheet name, last sync time, and whether access is still active
• This doc is imported by — the GeoSheets that have an IMPORTRANGE pointing at your data, with the existing revoke and restore controls

When you open the panel from a sheet tab icon, it defaults to showing only the sources referenced by that specific sheet. A toggle at the top lets you expand to all sheets in the doc.
